When I look back on my life I think I’ve always had the spirit of an entrepreneur but it took me a long time to truly believe that I had. I had always associated the word ‘entrepreneur’ with the big guns like Richard Branson and Steve Jobs, global mega players, risk takers extraordinaire and super confident dudes. I knew I had some good ideas occasionally and my instinct was always fairly accurate. I was always passionate about doing an excellent job in any environment.
For too long though I played it safe. I kept myself small and I followed the flock….get a good job, work hard, don’t rock the boat, find a great company….I’m sure you’ve heard all these statements before, probably had them repeated to you too , now buried deep into your subconscious putting the fear of god in you to break-out and be different. To dare to Be who you really want to be . To be bold and daring.
Speaking from the other side it’s not that scary, it’s rather cool, fun, creative and playful actually. Remember when you were a kid you thought you could conquer the universe, walk on hot-coals and have the power to bend metal bars with your thoughts ?
Well you really can, any of us can but first we must believe that we can.

I love this post- it really is so simple, yet can be so tricky to take the first step! Thank you
Jo

Thank you Jo…you’re absolutely right the first step is actually the hardest. If you start with a clear purpose, however, a big enough ‘why ‘ then you find a way and anyway the universe will begin to bring you the people, knowledge and support you need. I like your site-it speaks common sense and great wisdom!
