I have 20 years of corporate experience from two sectors, Recruitment and Retail. My final position was Managing Director before leaving the corporate world. I had always been ambitious and rose relatively quickly through the ranks. To the outside observer my life appeared to be one of apparent success and achievement. I had a great income so enjoyed the trappings that go with being successful. But life wasn’t really working for me on a number of levels, my spirit was craving attention.
Towards the end my light seemed to go out. I’d stopped using my intuition and was over-thinking everything and in doing so didn’t always make the best decisions for myself. I came to realise that winning at work meant losing in life, by sacrificing my time, my relationships, my values and ultimately my health and happiness. My commuting pressures were excessive and I realised that I wasn’t really using my full strengths or creative talents which left me feeling frustrated and unfulfilled.
Moreover anytime I did get to take holiday I spent hours daydreaming about what it would feel like to have and run my own business rather than working for someone else. I’ll always cherish the opportunity I had to work with some truly warm-hearted and talented people but I have come to appreciate that if you really want to transform your life, to seek the peace and fulfilment that you are looking for then you need to be inner rather than externally directed.
Real happiness is very much about living in the moment, a difficult undertaking for the majority of us who lead or have led such busy lives. It is about evolving and growing as a person guided from within to follow what we value the most, as opposed to what others expect of us.
I decided to follow my heart and establish my own coaching business. Through my research I stumbled across a business opportunity within the personal development industry or for those of you who believe in synchronicities; let’s say it seemed to find me. I quickly realised these products were leading edge. These transformational tools focus on the whole person. However, the real excitement came when I saw their business model.
It genuinely offers the opportunity to run your own business from the comfort of your own home and to enjoy time and financial freedom through the innovative compensation plan. I had no hesitation in getting started following some extensive due diligence. I was always ready to back myself but I was bowled over by the integrity and professionalism of the leaders and the quality of support and mentoring given. Now I get to enjoy the benefit of running my own business and being in complete control of my own destiny but supported by a community of enthusiastic and like-minded professionals who share my values…What could be better?

‘I have known Kath for a number of years and worked directly for her when I ran Michael Page Finance’s Oxford office. Kath is one of those truly inspirational leaders who not only brings out the best in her subordinates, but helps them to understand themselves in a business/work environment to really achieve their potential. She motivates, drives, challenges, supports, rewards and above all cares. She has been a mentor and a brilliant person to learn from as well as a good friend too. I would warmly recommend Kath to anyone in any capacity’.

‘Thanks to JK Rowling, Kath can now go about her work and life with only a little fear of being burnt at the stake. For we now have a much greater appreciation, understanding and tolerance of magic. For make no mistake Kath is a gifted magician. How else could she be so intuitive, immediately getting people, their core, their psyche and their motivation? It’s spooky. Nor could any mere mortal have such an immediate, positive and long lasting effect on the behaviour and attitude of such a wide and diverse group of mentees. I’ve seen her make great talent greater (you know who you are) and weak talent better (sadly you probably don’t). Her ability to eat work is legendary. Personally I think she has the dark art of bending time so it fits her needs. She can speed it up for tasks and slow it down for individuals. She’s an inspirational leader, a fiercely loyal team member and role model that talks and walks the right stuff. But, if this is all sounding too sterile, too good to be true, too miss bloody –perfect then fear not. Ultimately, it is Kath’s humanity, hint of vulnerability and overwhelming sense of mischief that shines through, blending with all her magical abilities to reveal a truly warm-hearted and uniquely talented individual’.

‘Kath was a pleasure to work for; in particular, I enjoyed her strategic approach and thought provoking style of leadership. She has a strong presence and a gift for public speaking’.

‘Kath had already achieved a lot by the time I had the pleasure of working more closely with her. Having earlier left a successful career with M & S to try her hand at recruitment consultancy, she quickly rose through the ranks to Director. She then upped sticks to relocate to London to run the UK’s largest profit centre and subsequently was promoted to MD-a worthy and fully deserved appointment. Kath has one of the finest minds I have worked with. Insightful, inventive, challenging, dedicated, supportive and collaborative. She believes and practises the training and development of her people. Her written and verbal communication skills are exceptional and she has a capacity for taking on those projects which would daunt most others. In short she is a highly talented and capable individual who I am proud to count as one of my friends’.
